We don’t know which teams are playing in the 2025 Super Bowl yet, and frankly, we don’t care. Because Budweiser just released a video hinting at an adorable return of the Clydesdales, and we are beyond excited.
The first Super Bowl commercial to feature the Clydesdales aired in 1986, and in the years since, the majestic draft horses have been a regular highlight. In 2023 they made only a brief appearance in the background of a decidedly non-horsey, limited-release ad and the public outcry was heard. Anheuser-Busch brought the full full hitch back for a 30-second Clydesdale Super Bowl ad in 2024. And it looks like the 2025 ad will be even better.
The teaser video for this year’s ad opens with a familiar sight: A pair of Clydesdales in full harness, snorting and tossing their heads—perhaps anticipating getting to work. As the camera pans right, though, something else comes into the frame. Something smaller. With an adorable whinny. Just watch it.
In a press release, company described the ad: “Back with a heartfelt story that showcases the grit, resilience and dedication of the brand that has been delivering for its consumers since 1876, the commercial will air nationally on Budweiser’s digital channels and in select markets during the game’s broadcast.”
