As part of the continuing free, online equine health seminars known as “EquineED Talks”, the University of Saskatchewan’s Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) will be hosting a online panel discussion next week on equine research and the impact it has on horses’ lives.
The virtual event will take place between 7 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday February 8, 2022. The session is free, but participants must register in advance. >> Click here to register
The panelist will include Dr. James Carmalt (WCVM researcher) Dr. Joe Bracamonte (WCVM researcher) Toni-Anne Saworski, (WCVM graduate student) Shirley Brodsky (horse owner/advisory board member of Townsend Equine Health Research Fund) and Dr. Julia Montgomery (WCVM researcher).
The discussion will cover a range of issues, including what’s new in horse health research, how all horses can benefit from research studies, what are key horse health problems researchers are working to solve and what issues need further investigation.
