Icelandic gelding in Quebec positive for Halicephalobus

The horse lived in Estrie and is deceased.

On February 5, an Icelandic gelding in Estrie, Quebec, was determined to be positive for Halicephalobus gingivalis based on histopathology. The horse was imported from Iceland over the summer. He is now deceased.
