Massachusetts State Police mounted unit is in search of new “recruits.”

The organization is looking for taller, sound geldings between the ages of five and 16.

The Massachusetts State Police are looking for a few good geldings to join their mounted unit. In social media posts this week, the organization made the appeal in search of sound, bay or black geldings, who are at least 16 hands and between the ages of five and 16. While they appreciate donations, the posts indicated they are willing to consider buying horses as well.
