During the action-packed Extreme Mustang Makeover, adult and youth competitors will showcase the trust they have built with previously untouched wild horses in approximately 100 days of training. Spectators will witness an incredible display of athleticism and versatility as trainers reveal the complete transformation each horse has undergone. The stakes are higher than ever before as trainers compete for more than $40,000 in cash and prizes.

General admission tickets for the exhilarating Freestyle finals that will determine the Oklahoma Extreme Mustang Makeover champion start at $15. Get closer to the action by choosing Gold or Silver box seat options, starting at $25. VIP packages, which include premium seating, drink tickets, and premium seating, are also available for $60. Reserve tickets online to secure a seat now or purchase tickets at the event.

Before the freestyle, admission is free, so make plans to watch preliminary classes, enjoy meet and greet sessions with the trainers, and more starting August 12. Find a complete schedule of events online at mustangheritagefoundation.org/okc-event-info/.

Anyone age 8 and older is eligible to enter any BLM-branded mustangs and burros in one of three divisions—in-hand; walk, trot; or walk, trot, lope—in classes including a handling class, a pattern class, a trail class, and a timed trail class. Winners from each division will take home cash, prizes, awards, and more. To enter or learn more, visit mustangheritagefoundation.org/open-show.
