INROADS partners with Zoetis to advance animal health

Diverse high school students to receive opportunities in the veterinary industry

NEWARK, NEW JERSEY – INROADS is partnering with Zoetis to help create future innovators, scientists, and veterinarians by investing to identify and develop talent early. INROADS College Links is an innovative program that seeks to close the knowledge and skills gap that often plagues talented and underserved youth, particularly from racial minority communities. Zoetis’ investment will be used to expand INROADS College Links in Newark, N.J., to support communities of color.

The INROADS/Zoetis partnership seeks to create future innovators, scientist and veterinarians by identifying and developing talent in underserved youth, particularly from racial minority communities.

“As the world leader in animal health, Zoetis wants to help bring more talented students from diverse backgrounds into our industry and have them join us in nurturing the world and humankind by advancing animal care,” said Roxanne Lagano, Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer and Global Operations of Zoetis, as well as a member of the National Board of INROADS. “By partnering with INROADS, we want to show students that there are many career opportunities in animal health – from veterinary medicine and digital marketing to finance, sales, and much, much more. As a company headquartered in New Jersey, we are excited to showcase our company and our industry to a new generation of students in Newark and across the nation.

“Zoetis understands that now, more than ever is a time for us to wrap our arms around our youth. Their commitment to INROADS will allow us to serve hundreds more youth across the country, help them rise above limiting obstacles in their lives, and place them on a path to college success and career advancement. The company’s support will help impact more than 11,000 College Links families over three years,” said Forest T. Harper Jr., President and CEO, INROADS, Inc.

Founded in 1970, INROADS has earned a reputation for providing sustainable corporate solutions for underserved and talented youth.
