Kathie Riley is an attorney as a sole practitioner, and her practice emphasis is in civil litigation and mediation with a particular interest in agricultural, equine and rural issues. Kathie also teaches agricultural law at Colorado State University, and is a guest lecturer in the CSU Equine Sciences Program. Kathie shares what she has learned as an entrepreneur, as well as in her previous roles including general counsel for the Colorado Department of Agriculture as an Assistant Attorney General, the Deputy District Attorney in Jackson County, CO, and as a Major in the Judge Advocate General’s Corp in the Colorado Army National Guard and the Army Reserves.
