I have never known what the words to this beautiful song mean; it is a commercial for the Japan Racing Association shown on television in Japan. It’s one of my favorite things on YouTube and my friends in Japan are some of my favorite people in the world. Whatever the words mean, I think it must be about something sad but beautiful, and that seems to fit. Maybe it’s about riding away from the horrors of the world on the back of a dream horse. Maybe it’s about hanging on to your memories, about watching your life gallop by, one stride at a time.

Maybe they need a dream horse to believe in right about now. I’m just sending them back the beautiful one that they sent to me. I saw it in a whole new light today.
