Dec. 8, 2005 — PRIMEDIA Equine Network, publisher of award-winning equine titles, is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of the assets of Equistar Publications, Ltd., a prestigious publisher of equine anatomy references for horse owners, trainers, farriers and veterinarians.

Founded in 1995, Equistar Publications published its first book, Illustrated Atlas of Clinical Equine Anatomy and Common Disorders of the Horse, Volume One, in 1996.
