Editorial Internship
EQUUS magazine is looking for interns in its Gaithersburg, Md., office to take on small writing projects that may be published in the magazine, help with day-to-day production and complete various administrative tasks.
All internships are unpaid. Interns must receive school credit.

Design Internship
Duties include working directly with art directors, photo editors, and editors on the development of pages from inception to final production, designing and flowing text in a number of our department and feature pages both for print and tablet. Interns may also occasionally work on marketing material such as in-house ads or branding creative for web and print.
Our staff is small and interns will get an intimate knowledge of the day-to-day cycle of publishing two national magazines and various digital products. We work with the Adobe Creative Suite. InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator are all used on a daily basis. A high level of proficiency in InDesign is critical. A passion for the equestrian sport helps.
